However, the visualization of a home on paper can be a flat experience, particularly with traditional 2D plans from both custom and volume builders. While you can see how and where rooms fit into each other, being able to experience the dimensions, corners, spaces and style of your home gives you infinitely better control over how you design, choose and select the materials and products that make your house a practical, family-friendly home.

Our expert team can help you visualise and articulate your dream into a pre-build concept that will save you time, money and the disappointment of poorly designed spaces. At your first, no-obligation consultation, we’ll discuss a range of ideas with you, including:
- The aspect and orientation of your home to maximise renewable power generation, passive heating and cooling
- The footprint of your home to ensure the intelligent use of space
- Number of bedrooms, living spaces, location of your kitchen and wet areas
- Use of light, natural light, texture and form
- Practicalities of day-to-day living, such as easy access from car space to kitchen, nursery to master bedroom
We’ll create concepts of your new build, creating in partnership with you a beautifully imagined home that fits the way you and your family live, day-in, day-out. Our team will introduce you to our design philosophies, and step you through the process of creating and developing the concepts that will form the basis of your dream home, all in a one hour obligation and cost free consultation.
We’ll then partner with you to discuss your hopes and ambitions, examine the way you live and play, consider the needs of your family and start creating a truly inspiring space that you’ll be delighted to call home. In working with our team, you’ll appreciate the intelligent use of space, light, products and materials, to streamline the building process and your budget.
6 Steps To Turning Your Ideas Into A Reality
We treat this journey as a collaboration between you, our client and us as your designer.
1. Design Consultation Meeting
We take time to discuss what you are wanting to achieve factoring in site capabilities, current and future lifestyle requirements.
And most importantly your Wish List. We also discuss budget, the last thing we want to do is sell an impossible dream. Finally, we explain exactly what to expect from us and others during this exciting journey.
2. Quote & Engagement Agreement
Once we have all your necessary information we prepare a detailed Quotation that covers everything previously discussed. If you are happy to proceed, we will then present you with an Engagement Agreement which is designed to ensure both parties, you, and us, understand our and each other’s responsibilities in this journey.
This is a standard document only altered to pick up on the unique aspects of your project. It will include what our services do and do not cover and clearly outline the payment schedule.
3. Design Development
This is where we turn your ideas, requirements, and Wish List into the first stages of reality. We factor in site conditions, Council requirements and your budget and develop a floor plan and façade that capture the dreams you have of your home.
4. Design Review
This stage is by far the best and most exciting... you get to see your words transformed into drawings. We will meet and take you through your new Floor Plan and External Elevations, explaining the how’s and why’s to ensure you can clearly read and understand what we have provided. We will then leave you with these drawings so you can take your time and immerse yourself and truly absorb your new design. It is important not to rush this stage and get as much feedback as you can from Family and Friends. If you then need another meeting or alternative options for certain areas, we work through the feedback provide to solve any concerns. We will not move forward until you are happy with the design.
5. Design Development Sign Off & Working Drawing
Once you are happy and any final amendments have been made we will jointly sign off on the Concept Plan. After this point we complete a detailed set plans called Working Drawings, these plans with their extra details and information are required for your Builder and the Permit Application.
6. Final Meeting
We will meet a final time to handover the Working Drawings and discuss where-to-from-here. If you need any assistance with sourcing Builders or Engineers, we are more than happy to help. If you have any questions during the next phase, we are only a phone call away!
